Nothing starts the Summer off quite like Wimbledon, and with the shocks and thrills that have been going on over the last couple of days, you probably need a bit of light relief… so with the sounds of barbecues sizzling, fine textile design company Nicole Phillips England has the perfect missing ingredient for you within her strawberry collection.
Now that summer is truly here, perk up your kitchen linen with a quirky strawberries and cream tea towel, create your Eton Mess wearing the vibrant strawberries apron, or even dress your picnic table with the delightful wipe-clean oilcloth strawberries fabric.
Created by artist Nicole Phillips from her studio in West Sussex and inspired by a love of all things British, Nicole’s original watercolour artwork of the popular British summer fruit has been transferred onto carefully selected fabrics and turned into a stunning collection that also includes cushions, table napkins, aga covers and oven gloves.
The strawberry range is a true celebration of Britishness, as they not only feature the much-loved native produce but every item has been designed, manufactured and packaged here in the UK.
As well as the strawberry designs the collection also includes other truly British summer delights such as seafood, trailing roses and asparagus.
The strawberry range starts from £12 for tea towels and all pieces are available to buy online at www.nicolephillips.com.
Nicole will also be displaying her new range at this year’s Dorset Seafood Festival on 13th-14th July in Weymouth.
