Its all fashion darling! And from the catwalks to the silver screen it would seem that these designers and their models are getting everywhere! And just in time for Paris Fashion Week, we now we see a model draped in Dior running through the streets of LA courtesy of photographer come film maker Dean Freeman. Dean has photographed some of the worlds most famous faces, including Michael Buble, Katy Perry and George Michael and now has the producing power of Ridley Scott (and his Associates – RSA Films) to produce this short fashion film starring Elite model Amanda Viola.
Whats’s the film all about?!!
The film shows a girl (Amanda Viola) running through the streets of LA wearing a stunning Dior couture gown. There are sirens in the background indicating that she‘s running from something, but what?!?! A heist? A wedding? A hit that’s gone wrong? The uncertainty provides an air of mystery and intrigue, and all the while, we cannot take our eyes off that Dior dress!!
She sees a gorgeous big house and breaks in. We don’t know if she knows the owner, or simply sees the house as an refuge and escape from what she is on the run from. The house is a place to get some freedom and explore. She starts off by freeing herself of the Dior gown, perhaps because it’s so recognisable, and roams around the French chateau style hollywood mansion. She explores every corner, fingering through the books in the study, where she is drawn to a mysterious drawing on the table. Does that hold any clue?!?!
After playing on the bed and curling up in the bath, she peruses the wardrobe and pulls out another beautiful dress…Valentino this time. A stunning dress, although not as opulent as the Dior, only aiding her disguise. She puts it on with a vintage hat and boots, and she’s back on the run. Running away from her crime or possibly a past life, she runs through the canyons, forest and nature to find a sense of freedom in the sunset on the top of the Hollywood Hills. You can see her joy. at having found the freedom and escape she so desired.
